Description

Context

The Cadarache Centre is one of the nine research sites of the CEA – the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission, one of Europe’s leading institutions for energy research and technological development.
CEA Cadarache has commissioned CERAP Prévention to operate its environmental chemistry laboratory, with a mission centred on monitoring and preserving water quality and guaranteeing the environmental safety of discharges.

 

Main tasks

Deployment:
Development and qualification of analytical methods following the installation and calibration of laboratory equipment, organised in compliance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
This ensures that the required limits of quantification defined by regulations are met.

Operation:
Carrying out regulatory analyses for discharge monitoring, involving approximately 1,500 samples per year, particularly focused on:

  • Ions (fluoride, chloride, bromide, etc.)

  • Metals (iron, mercury, aluminium, etc.)

  • Hydrocarbons
